South Indian Actress Bhavana All Set To Have A Low-Key Wedding In December

If you thought we are done with celebrity marriages in 2017, hold your horses. If reports are to be believed, there is one more celeb yet to tie the knot. Malayali actress Karthika Menon, more popularly known as Bhavana, is apparently all set to get married to her long-time beau, Kannada actor-director-writer Naveen, on December 22, 2017. Earlier this year, in March, Naveen and Bhavana had a simple engagement ceremony, which was only attended by close friends and family.

Bhavana, who made her acting debut with the 2002 Malayalam film Nammal, has been lauded critically for many of her performances. In a career spanning 15 years, she has already appeared in over 75 films, and has even won two Kerala State Film Awards and a Filmfare South Award. Meanwhile Naveen, son of veteran actor Srinivasa Murthy, had made his acting debut way back in 1982 as a child artiste. He made his debut as a director in 2016 with Girija Kalyana.

If rumours are to be believed, the duo, who met on the sets of a Kannada film, are all set to tie the knot in Thrissur, which happens to be Bhavana’s native town. Rumour has it the wedding will be as low-key as the engagement ceremony was. While attending an event a few months ago, Bhavana had spoken to the media about her wedding plans and life afterwards, “I want to focus on life after wedding, rather than the wedding. It’s the new life after the wedding excites me. Honestly, I haven’t started shopping yet for the big day. Hardly 3 more months for the wedding, but I feel everything will fall into place. Even my engagement was planned in two-three days and everything was done quickly.”

And because people can’t let a day go by without being sexist, she was also quizzed about quitting films after marriage, a notion she shut downimmediately, “Not at all. That’s my career. Films will always be a part of me.”Read more at:bridal gowns | bridesmaid dresses
