Julianne Hough's Wedding, By the Numbers

Julianne Hough's wedding last weekend was definitely one for the books. But is it one for modest budgets? No. No, definitely not.

Julianne Hough's wedding last weekend was definitely one for the books. But is it one for modest budgets? No. No, definitely not.

The Dancing With the Stars professional dancer and judge just wed her love, hockey player Brooks Laich, on Saturday, July 8th in Idaho. And now, while she and hubs are all about the newlywed bliss, we're all about the dollars and cents. E! News just broke down the budget of Hough and Laich's nuptials, spilling the costs of everything from the bride's gorgeous Marchesa gown to the couple's post-"I do" fireworks show. Can you afford this beautiful big day?

Hough's wedding was definitely as lavish as her glittery DWTS costumes. Wearing a custom Marchesa wedding dress, Hough boarded a boat with her honey on the big day that transported them to their outdoor ceremony site—a grassy field on the shores of Lake Coeur d'Alene. With bridesmaid Nina Dobrev and groomsmen Derek Hough at their side, the couple said their vows amongst flower boxes of roses, tulips, greenery, as their guests looked on sitting on rustic wooden pews. Later at their reception, guests were treated to a candy station and a fireworks show that lit up the Idaho sky.

It was truly a perfect day. Well, except for a small detour, where a bus transporting the wedding party (including DWTS pro Derek Hough and actress Nina Dobrev) derailed on the way to the reception, landing in a ditch and stranding its occupants. Uh oh! Entertainment Tonight reported that Derek jokingly pretended to push the bus out of the ditch himself, but despite the delay, everyone eventually made it to the reception. (See? Even celeb brides aren't immune to wedding day disasters!)

But just how much did this (semi-) perfect wedding cost? Well...

E! reports that Julianne Hough's wedding dress alone—a custom creation courtesy of Marchesa—could have set this bride back an estimated $20,000. And just getting to their wedding would've cost the bride and groom $2,600 (based on the cost of first-class plane tickets from LAX).

Hough and Laich's biggest budget breaker? Their venue. E! reports that a room at The Coeur D'Alene Resort is about $500 a night. Meaning it would've cost the couple around $200,000 to pay for the weekend accommodations of their 200 guests. To transfer those guests by boat to their ceremony site would've cost Hough and Laich an additional $2,700 for the private charter boats.

And that fireworks show came with a price tag just as explosive. E! estimates that Hough and Laich's reception fireworks display cost between $10,000 and $15,000 per the local fire department. Yikes...
